Deployment

From decision to first dashboard.

Every RapidDashboard deployment follows the same proven path: six steps from initial scoping to a live, shareable dashboard your team can open from any device.

1

Make the Decisions

Before anything ships, we align on the answers that drive the rest of the project.

  • Confirm your industry, primary use case, and the one or two business questions that matter most right now.
  • Name your Onsite Champion: the internal person who will own the Box connection and be the day-to-day point of contact.
  • Decide which dashboards you want to see first: Sales pipeline? Payroll variance? OTD by plant?

2

Identify Data Lake Integrations

Map every source system that feeds the dashboards you chose in Step 1.

  • List each source (QuickBooks, HRIS/Payroll, ERP, CRM, spreadsheets, etc.) and whether it exposes an API, CSV export, or SQL read-replica.
  • Flag which sources are cloud-hosted vs. onsite; this determines Box placement.
  • Confirm vendor access: do you have API credentials or IT approval for a read-only SQL connection?

3

Prep Your AI in a Box

We configure the Box for your network, your sources, and your security posture.

  • Cloud-only integrations: the Box is provisioned remotely; nothing ships.
  • Onsite integrations: we ship the Box to your location and configure it there, on your network.
💡 If any of your Data Lake integrations are onsite (on-premises ERP, local SQL server, etc.), the Box must be physically on your network. We'll coordinate the shipment and walk you through placement.

4

Onsite Installation & Secure Connect

Plug in, confirm security, and connect your Onsite Champion.

  • Plug in the ethernet cable and power cable. Indicator lights confirm the network connection.
  • Validate the Box's connection to your security management platform.
  • Connect your Onsite Champion to the Box using Cursor (recommended) or an IDE of their choice.

5

Data Integrated & First Dashboard

Your sources connect, sync, and your first plain-English question becomes a live dashboard.

  • Live syncs are running on your configured schedule (hourly, nightly, or on change).
  • Ask your first question in plain English. The Box builds the dashboard automatically.
  • Review it together: does it answer the question you defined in Step 1?
Estimate approximately 1 week per data connection, depending on vendor API access and any IT security review required.

6

Training Meeting

One focused hour to make the first dashboard yours.

  • We schedule a 1-hour working session with you and your Onsite Champion.
  • Together we build your first real dashboard: live, against your actual data.
  • You leave the call with a shareable link you can send to your leadership team that same day.
💡 This session is hands-on, not a product demo. Come with two or three questions you've always wanted answered about your business.

Timeline estimate

Plan for approximately 1 week per data connection, depending on vendor API access and IT security review requirements. Most clients have working dashboards within their first week of connected data.
